Helmut Newton’s exhibition in Athens… crazy concepts
Honey, someone has parked their car in front of the bed… and sofa… and the kitchen…. Remember Pittaki St, that little alley that is now bright thanks to a project and dozen of crazy chandeliers? Well finally I managed to go again a take a photo of the entire project and the decorated walls.
So, I am writing a piece on tourism/tourist attractions in Athens and I used the opportunity to pass by the City Circus Hostel in Psyrri, downtown Athens. I read about the hostel some time ago and found it quite charming, a symbiosis of the old and new, the traditional and modern Athens. Found the staff really helpful and friendly, and the location is in walking distance from some of the great bars in Psyrri, a wall of some graffiti I really like and of course Monastiraki, Plaka, and the Acropolis :) My photos are not so good, so if u r interested check out this Yatzer article about City Circus Hostel Athens.

They tore down this old house in Gazi…the graffiti are now replaced by a dusty black hole. Perfect storm happening in Athens right now btw.
